I read on the wiki that along with the original Freddy Vs Jason idea, one of the concepts for part 7 was considered “Jason Vs Carrie” (“What if the girl had telekinetic powers?”) as Jason is pretty much always against the final girl in the movies. The makers of part 7 wanted the film to be unlike any other F13 movie and they wanted it to win an Academy Award, Hence why Tina has superpowers essentially. Kinda crazy though when you think about it, imagine Jason facing off against Carrie! That would be amazing to see NGL
